Project manager production
Our projects are complex both from an organisational and technical perspective. Complexity goes hand-in-hand with added value. Can you switch between abstraction and details and would you like to act as the bridge between the client and your team?
We would then like to meet you very much!
Your day as a project manager will look like this
As a project manager within DEMCON production, you will already be closely involved during the development phase of products for our clients and you will be in charge of the correct transfer to production. You will be creating the right conditions (manufacturability, cost price, supplier reliability, etc) during this stage of the project so that the transfer from the development phase to production runs as smoothly as possible. You will therefore already form the proactive link with the R&D project managers and engineers during the development phase to prevent possible bottlenecks in the production phase.
As project manager, you will be the first point of contact within DEMCON production for clients and management for the different projects during the production phase. You will be responsible for the correct planning, progress, quality, cost control and (continuous improvement of the) end result to be delivered for your own projects.
What you will contribute
- Completed university of applied sciences degree programme / university degree programme focusing on Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an environment where R&D, engineering and production are a part of the organisation
- Knowledge of Lean methods and Six Sigma is a plus
- Fluent command of Dutch and English
- You recognise yourself in the following competences: persuasiveness, accuracy, analytical capacity, result-oriented, customer-focused and you have a healthy dose of perseverance
What we offer
You will be joining a growing and innovative company at DEMCON. Since we are so enterprising, we commit fully to complex technical projects. We assume responsibility to deliver added value and to continue until the system is operational in multidisciplinary teams. You will have a challenging and varied job and the opportunity to develop. You can continue with your training to ensure that you can further develop your career. We will positively encourage you to use your own initiative. All of this linked to a salary that is in line with the market and with flexible terms and conditions of employment.
Thanks to enthusiastic and committed colleagues, the lines of communication in our organisation are short and the working environment is open and informal. Your contact with colleagues both on the work floor and outside will be pleasant. We have an active staff association that regularly organises outings, activities and an annual weekend away.
